Avori is someone who likely radiates the energy of “stuck-up brat” but this isn’t particularly true— at least, not for the most part. However, it isn’t as though she doesn’t have a reason to be a little bit snobbish and even entitled in some cases; not only is she seventeen years old, but she’s from a bloodline that is widely respected and even influential. Sometimes, her family sees her to be “special” simply because she was the first natural born starcaller they produced after the longest drought they’d ever experienced, and the Lémieux’s were known for this part of their genepool.

While she does come from immense wealth, and enjoys “treating herself” from time to time, Avori does not fit into the Helios Knights’ reputation for only harboring the wealthy who want to add the coven to their repertoire simply for the status. Her family has remained loyal to the coven for decades, so it was only natural that Avori would follow suit, and she does follow her own moral code and the upkeep of justice when she sees something going on. Some would call this her “saving grace” because of how seriously she takes it.

Despite how her upbringing and surroundings may have shaped her to have become rather elitist, her familiar — Anemoi — has been helping her “correct” her behavior and become who she actually wants to be but has trouble controlling: a genuine, nice, welcoming person.

Avori, and even her familiar as well, is a very sociable, lively individual. It seems that she tries to befriend everyone she comes in contact with, and it’s not uncommon for her to know at least someone everywhere she goes. Her friendliness isn’t even limited to her age range— she has no qualms of talking to those who are older than her, even if they are highly respected; she simply wants to radiate generosity and kindness with no bounds. Sometimes this can be difficult when her less-than-pleasant traits break through, but she does apologize if she does wrong by someone, especially when Anemoi nags her to do so, as she has a tendency to go about her life unaware that she’d even done anything wrong at times.

While she likes to make friends, she also enjoys having a more tight-knit circle of friends that she can count on no matter the situation— she goes above and beyond to support any one of her companions, and even if it seems as though she doesn’t care, even though she tries her hardest to show that she does care immensely, she’ll often provide things — bought or otherwise — that were mentioned offhand in order to make someone happy.

It’s also important to note that while those who likely run in her circles in terms of their wealth or such trivial things — while the past, elitist and rather snippy Avori would limit her connections to — will be more likely to know her, Avori has grown to accept everyone and anyone, and sometimes even regards her richer “friends” with distaste because of their ridiculous attitudes toward those who were born with less opportunities than them; thus, Avori has grown — with Anemoi’s guidance — not to perceive anyone as being below her, rather seeing everyone as equal regardless of the cards they’ve been dealt in life.

Avori isn’t the type to necessarily make enemies per say, but she does dislike people easily and hold rather stubborn grudges. Surely there must be people out there who hate her on principle because of her family or her previous interactions with them, but ever since she’d been actively trying to become a better person, she doesn’t see the point in truly hating people, though it’s not… impossible. Because of how strongly Avori sticks by her own morals and sense of justice, she has no filter when something irks her or goes against her views— if someone does something wrong, she is the most likely to call them out for it, and this can cause people to grow wary of her due to her possibly embarrassing them by telling them off.

She does not tolerate those who spit on others due to status or things of that nature even though she was no better earlier on in her life, and often writes them off as pathetic and horrible people. This isn’t to say she’s quick to fight, but it is easy to irritate her, and at some points Anemoi has to step in and soothe her when she gets too riled up. She’s also incredibly protective, so if anyone she cares for — or even if she doesn’t know someone — is being mistreated, she is the one to come to their defense immediately.

Suffice it to say, Avori is in love even simply with the idea of love. She can be a bit of a flirt— particularly without meaning to be— and can develop feelings for people rather easily. She’s had “flings” before, meaning having “boyfriends” when she was young, but those don’t exactly mean or count for anything. A lot of the time she longs for a relationship simply because of how big her heart is and how much she’d like to share it with someone. Of course, she is by no means clingy. She can even grow very overwhelmed if someone else is toward her, and will either tell them to back off or end things entirely because of it.

While still remaining a very strong-willed and independent woman, she is a hopeless romantic at times, and her emotions know no bounds when she actually, truly falls in love with someone. It could take her a bit to develop those very deep, intimate feelings, but this isn’t to say that she isn’t invested from the start of a relationship. She is easily very fond of others, and can sometimes even have mixed feelings in the sense of liking more than one person at a time, which can cause a lot of conflict on her part as she hates the feeling of “stringing people along” so to speak, mostly because she’d hate it to be done to her.

When she is in a relationship with someone, however, she does anything she can to support her partner, always respecting their boundaries and trying to show them how much they mean to her, how much she cares, as well as trying to make sure they feel loved and appreciated. She is probably at her most genuine and open when involved with someone, which can prove to make a relationship more intimate or to lead to a disaster. She is particularly attracted to kind-hearted and genuine people, as well as people she knows she can count on— she’s extremely afraid of betrayal and being hurt, but this isn’t to say she’s necessarily slow to get into a relationship, merely cautious.
