this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
name of scroll: augmentation for dummies history: part of Arkhanka themisis' 'witchcraft for dummies' series, this scroll caters to the basics of augmentation and being able to manipulate the attribute of strength. affinity: augmentation description: upon being casted on an item, person or themselves, the subject will find their strength increasing by several folds. While this boost isn't much for beginners, far more experienced witches can cast augments that will increase their strength by thrice their actual ability. modification permission: nay?
name of scroll: Augete: Claustra history: one of the few surviving scrolls that were retrieved from the ruins of the coven that founded augmentation, this scroll dabbles in reinforcing and barricading items or living beings. affinity: augmentation description: A practitioner can learn how to reinforce armor or themselves, thus increasing their pain threshold or reducing the frequency and extend of injuries inflicted upon them. As of such, this technique is sometimes considered a healing technique of sorts which deals with precaution rather than cure. Masters of the art can fortify themselves by several folds and make themselves impenetrable to attacks for short bursts of time. modification permission: no.
name of scroll: Augete: Aether history: one of the few surviving scrolls that were retrieved from the ruins of the coven that founded augmentation, this scroll dabbles in augmenting the regenerative ability of a person or creature. affinity: augmentation description: by casting this augment on a person, the natural regenerative ability they possess is enhanced to fasten the healing and clotting process. At the hands of a beginner, only minor wounds and bruises are healed, while more experienced witches can heal massive lacerations and reduce blood loss. Only masters of this scroll can cast augments that can heal multiple, life-threatening wounds at a time. modification permission: no.
name of scroll: THE ILLUSIONIST’S NEW HANDBOOK: TEMPORAL SCROLL (ADVANCED) history: After the publication of the original Illusionist's Handbook, few scholars tried to write a tome as ambitious as Gilderoy Varis's. Only recently has a new handbook been published by a name never before heard of, that of one Lady Sarah Derleth, with new, modern applications of Illusion. affinity: Illusion description: While time manipulation is a mystery witchcraft hasn’t yet solved, an illusionist can affect the perception of others in order to make them feel like time has slowed down or sped up. Only an experienced illusionist is able to fabricate a smooth passing of time, and it’s thus not advised for novice practitioners to attempt this. The range of the illusion is also dependent on the witch’s skill and focus. modification permission: Yes, make it pretty and good
name of scroll: THE ILLUSIONIST’S NEW HANDBOOK: LUNAR GLAMOUR history: (Same as above) affinity: Illusion description: The ability to appear in front of others differently from how one truly looks is one of the first and simplest techniques a new illusionist is taught. From how to change the appearance of one’s hair and the color of one’s tongue to subtle changes in one’s clothing: this scroll puts forth a set of tips and guidelines that ease the procedure even further. modification permission: Yes, make it pretty and good
More scrolls! Do I have to post here everytime I get new ideas, or can I just spam you guys with a link to the Google Doc where I keep them and bother you whenever I have updates--
name of scroll: COSMECEUTICAL APPLICATIONS: HAIR DYE SCROLL history: Sarah Glatzer runs one of the most popular salons for witches in Sundial. In a rather abnegated attempt at teaching witches of all ages and orientations how to care for their appearances, she's published a book full of recipes for different concoctions that are sure to beautify even the ugliest duckling. All the potions in this book are patented and cannot be sold by anyone but her business, but Miss Glatzer encourages all witches to try brewing them at home. affinity: Alchemy description: While illusionists may choose to change their appearance at will, the less fortunate witches are forced to recur to less practical alternatives. Hair dying potions may be fairly easy to brew, but this scroll offers a base recipe that does not only last longer than most commercial hair dyes, but also has little impact on the more sensitive person’s scalp. modification permission: As always, yes.
name of scroll: COSMECEUTICAL APPLICATIONS: THERMIC HAIR DYE (ADVANCED) history: (Same as above) affinity: Alchemy description: A particular version of the famed Glatzer Hair Dye that’s a lot harder to brew, but infinitely more chic. This potion has the extra perk of making the user’s hair change colors depending on the room temperature. When exposed to rain or cold temperatures, for instance, it will show a bright cobalt blue. When under direct sunlight, blonde would be the user’s hair color. In warm places, it turns red or copper. Following the recipe in reverse will give the hair dye the opposite results: red when cold, silver under bright lights, blue when warm. modification permission: Of course.
name of scroll: AN ASSORTMENT OF CHARMS, SCROLL #6: GLASS REINFORCER history: Compiled and collected by Triobole Grant. Look, I'm just riding on the same ark you guys started. affinity: Enchantment & Augmentation description: This simple charm allows the witch to reinforce a small glass vial or bottle against collisions. Works only on glass objects. A more experienced enchanter or augete may reinforce bigger objects, such as windows, and more elaborate productions, such as stained glass. All the beautiful stained glass windows that adorn Sundial’s most famous works of architecture are reinforced with this charm. Vials reinforced with this spell are particularly popular among alchemists. modification permission: This one'll probably need editing, dunno how it'd work for the two affinities. Maybe a separate scroll with roughly the same description for Augmentation would be better?
name of scroll: THE RUNESCRIPTER’S GUIDE TO ENCHANTMENT: MANA RUNES (ADVANCED) history: Despite this handbook's misleading title, the different scrolls included in it are not for runescripters to learn enchantment. Its author was a sour runescripter who watched the fall of her affinity to the hands of enchantment, and decided to publish a book to remind all those 'ungrateful little wenches' of the importance and legacy of runes. affinity: Rune Scripting description: Mana runes are the runescripter’s version of an enchanter’s mana marks. Like them, mana runes allow for changes made in one object to be reflected in another. Although not accepted as popular knowledge, mana runes were actually the inspiration for enchanters’ mana marks. modification permission: Go ahead.
name of scroll: The Brown Note history: In pursuit of the great title of Master Trickster, a certain group of spellsingers dug into weird rumours and tall stories of a special note. Much laughter was had and many lower body clothing was changed in this noble endeavor. affinity: spellsinging description: The Brown Note trains the spellsinger in combining an audible low note with a safe, low frequency that causes... well... those that hear it to lose control of their bowels. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Banshee Screech history: A spirit whose keening is said to herald the death of a family member was the inspiration for this chilling shriek of noise. The main aim of the noise is to instill fear, though certain spellsingers will use it to cause physical damage to the targets eardrums. affinity: spellsinging description: The spell uses an instrument or the spellsinger's to produce a high pitched sound. The mana infused in the sound causes an intense, short lived fear and thought that someone is going to die. Rash use can result in injuring the spellsinger's voice or instrument. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: We Are Number One! history: Originating from a children's show, it was sung by the villain. Recently it has been used as a basis for teaching collaborative spellsinging, as it requires multiple instruments and voices for the true song to be performed. affinity: spellsinging description: Depending on how many join in on the song, it smooths out the local mana, making it easier for not only the spellsingers that performed the song, but any surrounding witches that may want to tap into the mana. Particularly useful in a learning area, 'resetting' the area after failed spell attempts. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Bears Eat Beets history: People can be petty and mean in their teasing. Spellsingers have both the musical training and the mana manipulation to take this petty teasing to the next level. And so, Bears Eat Beets was created. affinity: spellsinging description: The spell works by mimicking the targets mannerisms - the way they talk, sing, or perform an instrument - but scrambling them in such a way that they become nonsensical. This new, weird mix of familiar sounds causes confusion in those that hear it, even if they are not overly familiar with the person being mimicked. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Big Book of Foreboding BGM history: Sometimes when you're out on the road, the sun is setting, there's howling of beasts in the woods, and you have an instrument in hand, you just feel the need to make some fitting background tunes. This collaborative book has some favourites of travelers with restless fingers. affinity: spellsinging description: Depending on the personal fortitude of the person hearing it, the spooky music can alleviate or aggravate anxiety. Sometimes the musical joke gets some chuckles, other times it digs the anxiety hole deeper. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Mocking Parchment history: When a very angry alchemist and a jerk transfiguration genius became friends, a beautiful and spiteful duo was created. description: When ink meets parchment, the transfiguration activates or alchemic reaction occurs, transforming the innocent sheet of paper to a loving message of loathing and hate. Any attempt to continue writing keeps revealing the loving message. affinity: transfiguration or alchemy modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Ouran's Entrance history: Life imitates fiction, and this spell is yet another that follows this. A rather zealous fan practiced and failed many a time to perfect this illusionary blooming spell. affinity: illusion description: Ouran's Entrance is an illusion best cast as an entrance as the title suggests. While traditionally it uses blooming roses and falling rose petals like the source it was based off, others adapt the spell to use other flowers. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Minor Temperature Break history: one of many smaller spells to help fledgling purifiers, this relatively harmless spell came about from trying to show a small, everyday use, that can build up to dealing with larger, more dangerous spells. Also rampantly used for pranks by students. affinity: purification description: The spell lets the user break small temperature based spells, such as a freezer charm on raw meat, or a heating spell used on a cup of coffee. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Temperature Break history: A basic spell for helping in dealing with spells that utilise temperature changes in some manner. It was made to help break down complicated spells such as a fire tornado or a magical blizzard, or access dangerous, magically created extreme temperature areas. affinity: purification description: The spell lets the user dissipate the temperature effects of a spell - removing the heat from a fire ball (which will still burn flesh and cloth), or breaking the frozen part of an icicle to revert it to water (which will still have momentum and could be refrozen or otherwise manipulated). modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Minor Pocket of Holding history: when the terrible fashion trend of fake pockets on clothes took hold, a pissed off witch took the Bag of Holding weaver art and simplified it into creating the Minor Pocket of Holding for even the most unpracticed weaver to benefit from. affinity: weaver description: using a mana infused thread, the weaver either stitches directly into a previously existing pocket, or uses a patch of material to create their own pocket shape. The pocket can hold a single object of any weight or overall size, as long as it can fit into the pocket's mouth. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Strangle Scarf history: A spurned lover channeled their love into the thread used to create a final gift. After all, the object of their affection could never escape their loving grasp. The Strangle Scarf is used to demonstrate to weavers why they need to be careful in what they create, no matter how practiced they are. affinity: weaver description: The idea is simple: take the idea of a clingy piece of fabric or a magically snug piece of clothing and remove all the safeguards on the item continuing to constrict. Depending on the durability of the scarf, the target could cut the scarf off with ease, or have to take more drastic measures. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Umbrella Ribbon history: repel and elemental threads have their place, but how can they be made more effective? The Umbrella Ribbon was one result of this line of thought. affinity: weaver description: Combining water elemental thread and repel thread, the weaver creates a ribbon that prevents whatever it is tied into from becoming damp or wet. Useful for hair that gets destroyed by humidity! modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Spider Silk history: The most obvious weakness for a weaver is how the destruction of the thread can cause the entire item to unravel. Taking inspiration from natural world, this translucent to white thread is an attempt to safeguard against unfortunate accidents. affinity: weaver description: By combining multiple mana infused threads together, the weaver creates a thread with the sole purpose of protecting other magic threads, making them harder to break by magical or mundane means. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Celestial Phantasm #1: Starburst Scroll history: affinity: illusion description: When in use, this scroll allows the user to conjure an illusion of a galaxy of stars to surround the target. They can serve to impede someone's vision and confuse their sense of sight, or regale them with a bright, sparkling performance. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Celestial Phantasm #2: Nova Scroll history: affinity: illusion description: When in use, this scroll allows the user to conjure an illusion of a bright star, which slowly grows bigger and bigger until it becomes difficult to look at. The spell lasts for a few seconds as it provides light and can blind anyone who looks directly at it. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: 100 most useful runes: Ansuz history: part of the '100 most useful runes' scrollbook, it is an ancient but still highly applicable scrollbook that every runescripter is encouraged to read if not memorise. affinity: runescription description: Ansuz, meaning 'God', is commonly called the 'revealing rune', associated with vision, communication, insight, knowledge, and truth. It is typically included in arrays centred around the breaking of spells, the compelling of truth, or the focusing of clarity. By itself, its most common usage lies in the dispelling illusions or enchantments. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: an in-depth look: Ansuz history: considered to be a more advanced followup scrollbook to the '100 most useful runes' series, the 'an in-depth look' scrollbook series was written by prominent runescripter Leilan Fei. though very very modern compared to the ancient scrollbook that inspired it, it has already become a core series for aspiring runescripters. affinity: runescription description: One of the secondary meanings of Ansuz is 'mouth', with the verse 'the Mouth is the source of every speech, / the mainstay of wisdom, / and solace of sages, / and the happiness and hope of every eorl' associated with it. This secondary meaning is commonly associated with creativity, happiness, naming, blessings and curses, and fluidity, and is typically included as a supporting rune in long-term active arrays. By itself, its most common usage lies in temporary curses or blessings, or a temporary boost in emotion (usually happiness). modification permission: yes
name of scroll: reversing runes: Ansuz history: part of the 'reversing' scrollbook, it is a collaborative scrollbook by Leilan Fei and Tuinia LeDan, and is quite well known despite rune reversals being generally considered more complicated than what is expected for an amateur to learn. affinity: runescription description: reversing Ansuz typically alters it to mean 'Messenger' and 'Trickster', thus associates it with duplicity, resistance, cunning, words, and flight. It is typically used in such a fashion for arrays centred around illusions, traps, or stealth, and is often included as a resisting factor in volatile arrays. By itself, its most common usage lies in the creation of a small, temporary illusion, or creating a small force of resistance against movement. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: 100 most useful runes: Kenaz history: part of the '100 most useful runes' scrollbook, it is an ancient but still highly applicable scrollbook that every runescripter is encouraged to read if not memorise. affinity: runescription description: Kenaz, meaning 'Torch', is commonly called the 'illumination rune' or the 'beacon rune', associated with fire, light, vision, revelation, and enlightenment, with the verse 'the torch is known to every living man by its pale, bright flame; / it always burns where princes sit within'. It is typically included in arrays centred around fire and light, homing beacons, or protection from manipulation. By itself, its most common usage lies in the creating a small flame or flare of light. More experienced runescripters can learn to direct, shape and manipulate the flame/light produced. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: an in-depth look: Kenaz history: considered to be a more advanced followup scrollbook to the '100 most useful runes' series, the 'an in-depth look' scrollbook series was written by prominent runescripter Leilan Fei. though very very modern compared to the ancient scrollbook that inspired it, it has already become a core series for aspiring runescripters. affinity: runescription description: One of the secondary meanings of Kenaz is 'Ulcer', with the verse 'disease fatal to children / and painful spot / and abode of mortification' associated with it. This secondary meaning is commonly associated with sickness, decay, disease, wounds, and disintegration, and is typically included in active offensive runic arrays. By itself, its most common usage lies in weakening something, or worsening an illness/condition. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: reversing runes: Kenaz history: part of the 'reversing' scrollbook, it is a collaborative scrollbook by Leilan Fei and Tuinia LeDan, and is quite well known despite rune reversals being generally considered more complicated than what is expected for an amateur to learn. affinity: runescription description: the reverse of Kenaz is quite straightforwards, simply meaning 'Smother', thus associating it with darkness, smothering, trapping, silence, and death. It is typically used in such a fashion for arrays centred around hiding something, traps, or breaking down spells. By itself, its most common usage lies in the dousing of flame, or absorbing a measure of light and thus darkening the area. modification permission: yes

@anthonyskies líng lù-xī [break][break] your lore has been accepted! thank you for adding to the world of starfall. it will be added to the document soon.
name of scroll: Celestial Phantasm #3: Cirrocumulus Scroll affinity: illusion description: The user can conjure tiny puffs of cloud that can take on any shape or form the user wills. They can grow in size and number, depending on the witch's strength, but never grow larger than the user. These can be used to obscure objects or to blind a target. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Nightmare Chronicles: Iron Maiden affinity: illusion description: The scroll creates the image of a large container that captures and traps the person in a small, suffocating space. There is the illusion of losing air and being unable to move that paralyses a target with fear. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Scroll of Chromatic Draining affinity: illusion description: When used, all color suddenly disappears from the target's sight and leaves nothing but black, white and different shades of grey in between. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Color Psychology Scroll affinity: illusion description: For a brief moment, the user can see an aura surrounding all living things. Its color varies depending on each living thing's current mood. modification permission: yes
name of scroll: Visual Transparency Scroll affinity: illusion description: The scroll allows a user to see through solid objects at something further inside. This works well on any kind of container or houses, and the limit of how far a witch can see depends on their skill level. modification permission: yes
*note: actually now that I think about it, the last three scrolls might not fall under illusion. I'll leave it to your discretion whether they can be included under illusion, moved to a different affinity, or scrapped completely
fall notes (for reference) first 3 accepted. "Color Psychology Scroll" created as a general scroll. "Visual Transparency Scroll" not accepted, since illusion does not involve improving senses.
All of these Idm being modified, but do let me know so I can make the edits in my own personal doc!
name of scroll: VIVIAN'S GRIMOIRE, SCROLL #2 description: A good summoner is never without a proper bouquet of roses for their beloved. This second entry in Vivian’s Grimoire has made sure of that. By focusing on a mental image of the desired flower, the witch is able to summon anywhere from a small bouquet to an entire field of flowers, though naturally the latter would require a level of exertion too high for a beginner. Also works with trees, bushes, and any sort of vegetation that the witch has committed to memory. affinity: Summoning
name of scroll: AN ASSORTMENT OF CHARMS, SCROLL #7: SELF-DESTRUCT description: Traditionally used to charm letters and other important documents against theft, and people not meant to read them getting their hands on them. Depending on the witch’s elemental magic, this charm will set a ten-second timer starting from the moment a stranger opens the document, after which it will burn down, crumble down, turn into dust, evaporate, and so on. The charm wears off automatically after the document it protects is opened by its true destinatary. affinity: Enchantment
name of scroll: COSMECEUTICAL APPLICATIONS: HAIR CONDITIONER history: (already in the doc) Sarah Glatzer runs one of the most popular salons for witches in Sundial. In a rather abnegated attempt at teaching witches of all ages and orientations how to care for their appearances, she's published a book full of recipes for different concoctions that are sure to beautify even the ugliest duckling. description: One of the most practical potions listed in this Cosmeceutical Applications book. The Glatzer Hair Conditioner is a thick, creamy concoction that can be applied directly on one’s hair to tame it down and make it smooth as silk for up to twenty-hour hours. Also works on familiar’s fur, and even animals. The base recipe includes vanilla extract, but denotes that any other essence can be used to give the lotion its own particular fragrance. affinity: Alchemy
name of scroll: COSMECEUTICAL APPLICATIONS: HAIR STYLING GEL history: (Same as above) description: Spoil yourself: give yourself the hairstyle you always wanted to have. With only one layer of this gel, a witch to manipulate their hair in the wildest, craziest fashion. affinity: Alchemy
name of scroll: COSMECEUTICAL APPLICATIONS: GEL NAIL POLISH history: (Same as above) description: Ever grown tired of having to constantly reapply your fashionable black nail polish every few days? Worry not, my dear witch. With this recipe, you’ll be able to produce a self-drying type of nail polish which will not make you suffer from the same ailments as traditional polish. The end result will be translucent, but can be dyed at the user’s will and discretion. affinity: Alchemy
name of scroll: 101 WAYS TO ENTERTAIN CHILDREN: ANIMATED PICTURE BOOKS (ADVANCED) history: Although most commonly used to, as the title suggests, entertain children, this book includes scrolls that can be easily adjusted to any and all sorts of situations beyond those of stage illusionists. Still, it’s quite a catchy, inspirational title, isn’t it? Its author, one Mrs. Persephone McKingley of Gale Valley, likes to think so. description: The notion of animated images has been one that’s fascinated witches since times immemorial. By manipulating mana into a concentrated form, skilled illusionists are able to bring a book’s pictures to life. These animations require a physically drawn picture from which to base themselves on, and each animation will only last anywhere between thirty seconds to two minutes.
The higher the concentration of mana imbued into these pictures, the harder it is for a less experienced witch to maintain the illusion, and the longer the corresponding animation will last. Of course, anything longer than two minutes would render any piece of paper, no matter how thick or strong, too magically charged to be considered safe. affinity: Illusion
name of scroll: STARING AT A DRYING WALL: BLACK HENNA history: A short collection of recipes for mana-imbued paints and inks for different uses. Most of these mixtures can be used straight away by any witch, but most need to be applied by an enchanter or transfigurer in order to achieve their true potential: animated paintings and tattoos. Because of the hybrid nature of the recipes within, it is recommended that only experienced witches attempt to create animated works of art with them. description: Black henna is one of the safest and most popular inks used for tattoos. Its effects are temporary, and its production therefore doesn’t require overly extensive manipulation of mana. The henna tree’s flowers are the main component of this ink, although different flowers may also used for varying colorations. affinity: Weaving
name of scroll: STARING AT A DRYING WALL: GLOW-IN-THE-DARK INK history: (Same as above) description: Glow-in-the-dark ink is a fairly new type of ink commonly used not only for writing secret messages, but also for a great number of other creative ways. Younger generations of witches are particularly fond of it, and have even started painting their ceilings with it in a manner of artificial firmament. affinity: Weaving
name of scroll: STARING AT A DRYING WALL: MANA-DIFFUSING INK history: (Same as above) description: By mixing in a series of flower extracts of mana-diffusing properties, weavers have managed to come up with a solution that not only easily stores mana inside it, but is also able to evenly extend and diffuse it. This extremely utilitarian ink has helped avoid heavily enchanted letters from exploding when subjected to more mana than is considered strictly safe, so that witches can now reinforce them with a series of protective spells and charms against them being read by anyone but their recipients without fear. affinity: Weaving
name of scroll: STARING AT A DRYING WALL: APPLICATION #1, INK CONVERSION history: (Same as above) description: This scroll allows a skilled witch to turn any of the inks in this scrollbook into a live, animated work of art. Due to the complexity of the scroll, it is recommended that any witch attempting this technique first practice with an inanimate object—a wall, a rock, a piece of paper. Anything that does not endanger a living being’s integrity. affinity: Enchantment or Transfiguration, but requires a pot of weaver's ink at hand
name of scroll: STARING AT A DRYING WALL: APPLICATION #2, COUNTER CONVERSION history: (Same as above) description: Allows the witch to take an animated creation, be it theirs or someone else’s, and return it to its original form as ink. It also has the added effect of stripping the ink of any magical properties it possessed, as mana would literally have to exit the liquid before it can be removed. Ideally, this scroll would be learned before Ink Conversion, for safety purposes. affinity: Enchantment or Transfiguration, but requires a pot of weaver's ink at hand
fall notes: all accepted except last 2 due to vagueness of what they're trying to achieve
name of scroll: PRANKS FOR DUMMIES - MATTEO STYLE: BUZZEROO history: Created by Matteo Garcia, this mini journal/handbook is a collection of machine ideas more suited towards pranking - with possibilities of being used in battle, however unlikely that may be. This blueprint shows how to make a small device which, when fitted like a ring and hidden in a palm, can be a creative way to shock people when you give them a handshake. The enchanted portion which provides the shock is encased in metal. The voltage can be upped or lessened, depending on mana input and the skill of the user. affinity: magical engineering description: upon touch from a person other than the user, the buzzeroo will shock the other person. modification permission: yep
name of scroll: PRANKS FOR DUMMIES - MATTEO STYLE: CONFETTI BOMB history: Created by Matteo Garcia, this mini journal/handbook is a collection of machine ideas more suited towards pranking - with possibilities of being used in battle, however unlikely that may be. This blueprint shows how to make a device which looks exactly like a bomb. However, when it explodes, it releases confetti. The device is spherical in shape, with a fuse which can be lit. The timer allows for ten seconds before it explodes, so be careful! Rather useful for parties - or possibly distractions. affinity: magical engineering description: like it says - it explodes and releases a stream of confetti. modification permission: yep
name of scroll: PRANKS FOR DUMMIES - MATTEO STYLE: FLASHBANG history: Created by Matteo Garcia, this mini journal/handbook is a collection of machine ideas more suited towards pranking - with possibilities of being used in battle, however unlikely that may be. This blueprint shows how to make a device which releases a pulse of light, enough to blind anyone who looks at it. The item is encased in wax paper, making it look much like a candy in a wrapper. Don't eat it. affinity: magical engineering description: When thrown on the ground or another solid surface, the object will make a loud bang noise as well as release a burst of light enough to blind someone for a short while. modification permission: yep
name of scroll: PRANKS FOR DUMMIES - MATTEO STYLE: LITESABER history: Created by Matteo Garcia, this mini journal/handbook is a collection of machine ideas more suited towards pranking - with possibilities of being used in battle, however unlikely that may be. This blueprint shows how to make a device which, with the click of a button, extends a solid cylinder of seemingly pure light. affinity: magical engineering description: The blade is really just plastic, with light inside which glows. Honestly, it's not much good for anything save a party trinket. Or a good way to bluff someone into believing it can cut through things. modification permission: yep
