this is Salem, a land filled with magic and maladies. It is a place where witches and their elemental familiars gather, a home to legend and
lore that predates time itself. Yet of all the wicked and wonderful stories the past can tell us of, the most magical are the ones yet to happen.
This is Salem - this is the start of your very own journey. Welcome to starfall
Starfall is an animaga witch roleplay set in mostly modern times. Members play as witches in a world plagued by monsters, where the only safe spots are walled cities. Starfall strives to be a character-driven roleplay with expansive lore and a highly interactive plotline. We want to allow members to
create and look back on a magical journey, and mold the site and its plot as their characters grow.
[attr="class","scrollz"]He had been smoking out on his balcony when he saw it. The streak of red, like a gash in the sky oozing blood red light. JP watched as it traveled over his head and pass the sturdy walls of the city. Curious, but too high to do much, he retreated to his bed. Whatever it was the covens or someone will deal with it. Besides, it’s not like it’s directly affecting him.
The morning after and those that followed proved him all too wrong. Some weird treatise or the other prevented the covens from sending any official team to deal with the red streak and so volunteers would be needed. It was supposedly going to be a “dangerous expedition into the wilderness”. The city dwellers didn’t know what the dangerous of the wild like he did. The scar on his face reminded him of that every time he looked in a mirror.
He signed up quietly and quickly, not wanting to lose a chance to go and discover the secrets of the crimson comet. If he could travel to and from Gale Valley relatively unharmed he was sure he’d be able to handle this little adventure.
The group set off early in the morning, which JP was not a fan of, and had reached the forest soon enough. There weren’t many familiar faces in the mass of people but the pink haired punk did recognize Korrine and chose to stay near her, glad to know at least one person. And then there was some guy with a big ass moose. JP couldn’t help but be a bit envious. His own familiar was huge as well, more than capable of supporting his weight, but she rarely ever talked to the boy. A ride upon her silky wings probably wasn’t going to happen.
