What will Percy get of sneaking inside Amagika Park late in this evening? The park is about to close, and everyone is about to leave the premise.
Nothing of importance, but he could get free cotton candy, maybe a traditional oni mask, charm bracelets, hats, and stuff toys. The stuff toys are a little hard to conceal, so he probably would have to settle for keychains. Such is his mindset when he charms his additional time, saying he's still looking for his small cousin. He bid the lady adieu and set off the opposite direction people are heading to--deeper into the park.
The park, absent with people and the sun and the jolly vibe is surprisingly eerie. The statues, all of which are delightful in sunlight, now towers the walkways as if they are looming monsters. Lights blink, and are absent entirely at some parts. The grand carousel is pitched at an awkward stop. Some of the doors of the Ferris wheel has been left open. The Vikings is illuminated poorly, and the barrels on it seems like more than barrels to the naked eye.
Further ahead, the park has an imitation of a forest, complete with densely packed trees, stone sidewalks, and tree houses. Around this area there are little to no personnel, and so Percy is able to walk around without much thought. Although he had missed his original idea--no matter, he would have time for that later in the evening.
The clock chimes, signaling that the hour hand has reached its destination. It's ten in the evening, and the night is still young.
He is alerted of another presence, though at this dark he can't pinpoint exactly where. Nonetheless he puts on his sweet smile and soft, guilty voice, if the stranger decides to approach him.
tldr // At Amagika Park ten in the evening, just loitering around.

[attr="class","onlytimeleft"] The seconds crept by as her boredom continued to build. Naomi willingly committed to sneaking into the park tonight, but that didn’t make the waiting any easier. Now, why did she even bother to do this? Mostly to prove a point—to show she still had the talent. Eventually, a member of her ‘former’ coven needed her assistance with getting into somewhere, so in a way, this was practice. [break][break] A little bit of misbehaving never hurt anyone. Plus, Amagika Park was an ideal setting for sneaking around. Half-forgotten memories of wandering around during her teenage years made the whole experience rather nostalgic. It would’ve brought a smile to her face, if she was even capable of moving. [break][break] Oh, right, now would be a good time to mention that Naomi was not entirely human at the time. It might have taken sixteen years of practice, but she no longer had to rely on her charms to get past the employees. No, this time she could simply magic up a disguise to avoid most of the attention that an actual body might attract. Was that stuffed bear in the corner a misplaced item that a child lost earlier. No, it was her. Naomi. [break][break] She knew better than to sit here all transfigured for very long. Too many risks involved. Ideally, this would only last for the brief moment when all the faculties closed up for the day. From there, even a ten year old could stay hidden the few that may still be here. The ringing of the chime signaled the end of her performance.
[break][break]The process of becoming human once more always brought with it an uncomfortable soreness. Before continuing, she had to stretch a little to get reacquainted with moving again. A few shakes here or there aught to be enough, but apparently her leg decided to stay asleep. Naomi fell over and hit the ground with a thud.[break][break]
“Dammit, that’s the last time I—” talking to herself would have to wait. As it turned out, she wasn’t truly alone yet. Naomi considered leaving them alone but, like, it seemed as though they were heading in her direction. Not really enough time to avoid interaction. [break][break] “Hey” she called out, bringing a hand up to her in a effort to mask a (fake) yawn “Guess I ended up falling asleep. Any idea where the exit is?” [break][break] [break]Spells used: Transfiguration Scroll 101: Scroll #3

There wasn’t a particular reason why he was Amagika park. The night was young, and the outdoors was calling him. He’d been wandering the city for a good portion of the day, and now he was creeping around the wooded area of the park. In an attempt to practice his magic (as well as it was just plain fun he had recently taken to a feline form and was traversing the tree canopy. It was peaceful and he had remained virtually unseen. The night was quiet for the most part, aside from the various calls of miscellaneous birds that made their homes here. Birds were cool. His mind derailed from whatever stream of consciousness he had before and set to thinking much more intently on birds and how strange they were. They could just fly up into the air without any magic or tools. Just move their arms really fast and basically sit up on top of air currents. Why couldn’t people do that? Maybe birds were secretly magic.
His mind was quickly brought back to focus on his immediate surroundings as he heard voices though. “Oh.” He thought out loud. Before he stopped in his tracks- standing on a tree branch, as a small gangly looking cat. Below, he could see not one, but two figures- as clear as day thanks to his special cat eyes. Neither of them looked familiar at all to him. And a sense of urgency began to creep up, he’d been holding this form for about 15 minutes now and it was starting to put a strain on him. Not wanting to overdo it, he dropped the transformation and took to sitting on the branch instead, rather content to be up there instead of down with these two strangers. Two shady individuals who were creeping around a park- after close- were definitely trouble. Well, not that he could really talk either- being in the same situation and all.
the moon is high. the stars shine a little brighter or seem to try to. these days, it feels as though a gloom has overtaken sundial. the mood is eerily melancholy, unsuited for an amusement park. or perhaps that is because it's ten in the night. [break][break] it seems as though the moon is calling. in the far off distnace, a wolf howls. the atmosphere becomes unsteady. the creaking of the carousel gets louder as the wind inches the horses forward and their sequein-laden saddles reflect the moonlight in odd directions. as the trio become aware of eachother's presence, they also become aware of a faint humming whose source they cannot locate, like that of a sad song trying to play over heavy static. the noise seems to be softly emanating from the air itself...for Rafik Bousa'id, especially, the noise seems to call out. [break][break] and then they see it- a small girl, no more ole than twelve, rushing towards the locked doors of what is labeled "house of mirrors". the girl and the attraction are very far away when they see her, and it would likely take them a minute to reach her. as she runs towards the disfigured door, however, she falls onto the grass in what looks like a pretty terrible fall- her face hits the ground and she struggles with lifting herself up.[break][break] the hum drones on- quiet static emanating from everywhere and yet seemingly nowhere at all. Aeliana had gotten lost in the "maze" of the park. She was never very good with directions to begin with, but she couldn't help herself. It was a beautiful day out and she was just dying to go to the park in order to enjoy it. It wasn't until it had gotten dark after she had gone to use the restroom that things suddenly became more complicated to navigate. Eventually, she even stopped seeing people.
It was by pure luck she happened to see a small group of people who also seemed lost in here. There was something to be said for safety in numbers, so she called out towards them as she made her way over. "HEY! CAN YOU HELP ME?" She waved a hand in the air as she made her way over, a look of genuine loss on her face. "I can't seem to find my way out do any of you...know...the way..." As she got closer, she could hear a voice on the wind, and saw the group staring off into the distance.
Following their gazes, she stared, turning just in time to see the little girl trip and fall face first into the ground. "Oh my god!" She yelled running over immediately to help the little one up, "Are you ok?!? That was a nasty fall!"
[attr="class","onlytimeleft"] The sound of a wolf howling at nothing triggered a best forgotten memory that really had nothing to do with this situation. Her left arm twitched in a suppressed attempt to make a fist. Not a good time to be angry. It might seem as though one of her new friends here had set her off. [break][break]
Yes, it sounded as though there was more than one other person waiting the park around at night. Deciding to focus more on the other girl than her own misery, Naomi turned and clasped both hands together. [break][break]
“So that’s where you ran off to!” [break][break]
Now, obviously, Naomi had absolutely no idea who this person might be. They clearly didn’t work here. She just thought that hey, pretending to be part of a group would be less suspicious. They two of them might wander off a bit in an attempt to leave the park, but she could easily sneak away once they were alone. [break][break]
The chances of actually getting away from these people continued to fall even further, as an actual child appeared out of nowhere. That pink-haired education idiot ran off to help, but Naomi knew better. Nuh-uh. Nope. She still had the scars from a month ago or whatever when the last bitch showed up. [break][break]
Of course she appreciated a good spookfest, but that didn’t mean she wanted to play the role of a future murder victim. Not today. If this was the middle of a forest or something, you bet your ass Naomi would consider running. Fortunately, they were all still in Sundial where nothing that bad would happen. It wasn’t like they just stumbled across some kid that had been missing for months now. [break][break] Nah, that’s crazy. [break][break] . . .Still, better to go home for now. A minute ago, the creepy atmosphere didn’t seem like that big of a deal but, like, her work here was done. Naomi took a few steps in the general direction of the girl but made sure to stay out of arm’s reach. “R-right, so, let’s get you out of here.”

So it's just a girl, who seemingly fell asleep inside and missed closing time. Percy tilts his head innocently, pretending to think, deliberating on whether to, well, prank the girl, or tell the truth, or just simply ignore her.
"Over there," Percy says kindly, pointing to the real direction of the exit. Better to get rid of her company as soon as possible, because he still has to loot for candies. Someone who does not understand his desire would only become a hindrance. "They're closing, so you should hurry up missus--"
He stops short, as a new sound fills the air. It's an unpleasant cornucopia of howls, hums, creaks, the wind shifting, and eerie orchestra music playing. He tenses, then, increasingly aware of his immediate surroundings. This is the atmosphere that would bring them to no good, even worse than being caught stealing marshmallow.
Okay, that is a pretty lame example, but you get the point.
When he sees the girl, Percy can't believe it. What would a small child do in an amusement park late at night? An older woman immediately rushes to her aid, and then this girl who he had just spoken to speaks as if she just had a daughter.
Minding the exit and then suddenly looking for a girl--it just doesn't match. Percy, nonetheless, follows suit. He lags several steps behind the tan woman, not minding the commotion, instead is fixated on the immediate attraction. They were halfway through when the words start to make sense, considering the poor lighting and all.
"The exit's over there," Percy says helpfully. "I can lead the way out."
Seems like his candy cane looting plan would have to wait until all these people are off from the amusement park.

He would have asked who these people were. He would have paid attention or at least given a stray glance to these strange witches- but his attention was anywhere but with these few. He paid little to no mind on the girl in question, but more so to the eerie hum that twirled on with the wind. His mind was full of questions and hesitations, but his body had near none and as soon as the melody caught his ear, he was headed towards its source. Or, he would have been. If he had any kind of idea as to where it originated. Through the static-y sound came through from all directions at once, and the fledgling mage had no other thoughts than that this noise was some kind of prank by some twisted individual.
This park was creepy in all the wrong ways after dark, and the noise was no help- leaving him only to wonder if this was something going on only in his head. "Do you hear that?" His question fell on deaf ears as he spoke to no one from his tree branch. As he dropped to the ground he blinked and his thoughts quickly grounded themselves. Huh. They'd all migrated over to a tiny form he had not noticed before. He hoofed it over to the small gathering and stood a few feet back from them, quietly judging their actions.
After he deemed them to be quite capable of handling the child on their own, he moved to try the doors to the hall of mirrors. Locked. Damn. He removes himself from his attempt and instead tries to listen to the music in the air. Was this a familiar song? Why was it playing? Curiosity drove countless inquiries through his mind.
when the girl is approached by not one but multiple human beings she seems terrified and attempts to hurriedly get up, which only serves to tangle her paper-thing body worse. up close, the girl seems frighteningly ill. her body is semi-translucent as though if a few more moments were allowed to pass you would eventually see the circuitry behind her skin. her limbs are long and spindly, but enough so that they cannot be attributed to the awkwardness of pre-teenhood. all in all there is hardly anything to distinguish her as who she was ( chrystanthemum Blackburn )-- though it'd be a miracle if any of them would recognize her now. [break][break] her decimal-point pupils flicker to and fro from each unfamiliar face as she struggles to form words. "who are you?" she says first to naomi, and then to everyone else. she repeats the question: "who are you?!" with a frightening shrillness in her voice. "i'm okay..." she reluctantly admits, finding a little more comfort in Aeliana D. N. Constantine than the other three. but there is something off about her- it seems like her heart is racing for now real reason even several minutes after the fall.[break][break] "no! we can't leave! i have to find it. the key." her eyes look despaired. her hair is frazzled. but most of all she looks like a ghost of human, teetering on the edges of purgatory.[break][break] and when Rafik Bousa'id's hands touch the door the demon inside is unleashed. chrysa hisses with such vehemence that she seems quite possessed, and stands in an attempt to shove rafik away from the door- the attempt will at best shock the witch and serve as a moderate push, but the anger in her eyes would be enough to set anyone running for the hills. [break][break] "i have to find it," she insists darkly, eyes wide like a cornered rat.

Then, Percy really sees the child. His stomach twists as he takes in the actual appearance of the girl. He swears, if he illuminates the area enough he could see all the intricacies of the her (is she really) human body. She is disoriented for whatever reason. Percy knows it's more than the shock of being crowded upon--her frighteningly fragile body tells otherwise.
Percy's suspicious, and he has every right to do so. He masks it perfectly as he smiles kindly at the girl. Still from a safe distance, Percy bows formally. "I'm Percy," he says softly as to not bewilder her anymore. "We're not going to hurt you, so try to calm down, okay? Look, your sisters--" with that he eyes the older women both, Aeliana then Naomi, hoping they would get the hint and play along, "would help. And so do I."
Percy makes his voice as soothing as possible. Despite his effort, the girl seems to be worsening. He couldn't care less about the key she's talking about, and he could just leave. Honestly.
But this girl... she's an irregularity, and if she is to turn into something funny, he would not have it with his back turned. "Can you tell us more about it? What is this key? Tell your sister," he urges.
Then the girl launches forward, and that is the only time Percy recognizes the presence of another human being. He swears he is not here before. The guy looks distracted as he gets tackled by the girl. Percy watches in amusement and wonders what could have gotten her so worked up. Questions started piling up, going in circles, finding no answer...
At least for now.

This kid sucked hard, although there wasn't much of a reason to stay on the alert. The creepy atmosphere needed a monster in order to be scary. Kid was a little hard to see, but it's the middle of the night. It'd be weirder if they all had a perfect view of each other. [break][break]
With a sigh, she went on to introduce herself. "it's Naomi." [break][break]
That was all. she stopped herself from saying any more, as it totally wouldn't be helpful right now. She might hate this kid, but that didn't give Naomi a reason to be actively hostile. Yet.[break][break]
Wherever this key was, it sounded hella important but let's be real. With a wave of her hand, Naomi could probably use transfiguration magic to just...melt the thing kid's trying to open. The only reason she didn't mention this to the group was, well, why should she care? Being a criminal meant doing a lot of shady things on the regular, but for free? Fuck that.[break][break]
Let Percy deal with it, the rest of them could go home. He clearly cared more than she ever would.[break][break]
At this point, Naomi wished she had the good sense to walk away minutes ago if only to avoid the hysterical screaming. That shock could've taken years off her life. Naomi jumped back as the kid ran off towards one of the buildings. For a moment, all she did was stare, but then a smile started to creep upon her face. She found her entertainment for the night. [break][break]
If she had to put up with this mess sober, then she was going to have some fun.[break][break]
Now that the toddler had demonstrated their strength, Naomi no longer considered them a threat. She moved up to the door as well, playing with the handle as she continued. "Hoh, what's wrong? You lose your special dollie in there?"[break][break]
The amount of condensation in her voice would flood the hovel.[break][break] [break] this kid sucks. naomi tried to open the door just to piss her off.

im jealous, im overzealous.
when i'm down, i get real down. when i'm high, i dont come down.
Rafik let out a shriek as the ghostly child lept at him. He wasn't expecting it at all, and how he responded was completely irrational. In hindsight, he never really was the type that enjoyed (or even could tolerate well) jumpscares in the slightest. But, rather than being the type to pass out or hide in the instance of a spook, he took the other route and without a thought (aside from self-preservation) he flung a fist and a knockerbacker spell at his assailant- knocking himself backward as well as prone from the influx of energy that he wasn't quite proficient with yet. After he hit the ground on his back, he let out a gasp before he quickly scrambled up into a sitting position. Wide-eyed and thrown for a loop, he glared at the child with a shocked and offended expression.
"W-why, you little beast!" he snapped, as he tried to regain his bearing. It took a moment to process what the hell had just happened, but now that he had a grasp on the events of the last minute, he was livid. Now, he could excuse the child's appearance. That was something they may or may not have had a say in- but it's manners? How could any creature behave so poorly- let alone a human... Human? She looked inhuman. He stood up and brushed himself off before setting into a sling of insults. Human or not, manners were the cornerstone of civilization. Without proper behavior, you had might as well go live in the wild. "I don't care what you have to find; but, you're not going to find anything more than trouble if you go on behaving like a mongrel! Use your words!"
JELLY PARIM "I've grown to hate the world more than ever."
She was bored. That's what she felt like.
The moon was bright, and everything was quiet. Well, save for a few owls emitting eerie sounds on trees, but overall, it was extremely quiet. This was just how Jelly liked it; the night was a perfect time to sneak out of dumb missions handed over to her and to just... do stuff. Like, going to Amagika Park in the dead of night. She wasn't one to stay home and do nothing. And besides, Amagika Park in the dead of night seems fun for her. I might be able to see dumb ghosts or something!
Jelly was already inside before the park closed, anyway, so it might just not be a problem for her.
The Leviathan witch strode around the deeper areas of the park, simply observing the darkness. She wondered if other witches were exploring the park deep at night, too. Haha, no, that's stupid. Who in all of Sundial would want to get themselves stuck in Amagika Park at the dead of night?
...Voices.
Huh? Wait, really?!Jelly turned around to the direction of the voices she just heard, before sprinting into a run. Now one would never think that they were alone in this place, they wouldn't even like it if they were alone, but seriously? Never thought I would hear some of them here. Well, gotta check it out, anyway.
Her eyes found what seemed like a group of witches at a nearby distance, seemingly bickering about things. A grin spread across her face as she ran faster, almost approaching the group.
She found herself stopping into a halt to try to listen to whatever they were talking about. Keys and other weird stuff... just what in the world are they conversing about? Oh... and... Her eyes trailed to a mysterious member of the group: a young girl. And the group was currently around her. Huh... who's that girl, though?
Mustering her courage to talk to the group, she took a deep breath and started to approach them. "Uh... hello there, fellow witches!"She greeted, walking up to the small group. "Nice night we are having here, huh?"
But then, the moment that girl jumped at the long-haired guy, she gasped in surprise. She approached the girl closely and glared at her. "Hey, hey, calm down. He hasn't done anything bad to you, has he?" She told her in a calm yet reprimanding manner.
TLDR: Jelly explores the park at night and finds other witches in the park. Currently with the other witches, was surprised to see the girl leaping at Rafik. Now telling her to calm down and asking her if Rafik has done something wrong.
She was used to the dark stares, the cold shoulders, the way that people treated her off the bat. She didn't think she would ever quite get used to it, but that didn't mean she wasn't prepared for it. It wasn't worth her effort to acknowledge these people, she had decided, not unless the situation changed. Her own misfortune of being stuck in here had become second hand to helping out this young girl.
"It's ok, honey," She says, in a calming, motherly tone. "My name is Aeliana. What's yours? Did you loose someone?" The answers to her questions seemed to come rather quickly as the small, and now Aeliana had to admit, frail girl, began searching frantically for something, murmuring about a key. "It's okay honey, let me help you find it."
It was then that she saw the redhead mess with the door, and the girl jump up into a frenzy, running and shoving him, screaming about not leaving. She quickly jogs over behind the girl, reaching her hands out calmly. "It's alright honey, it's alright. Say, why don't you tell me what your key looks like, and I'm sure we ALL will help you find it." Her words, while kind to the girl held a strong venom in them directed toward the others, carrying implications that they better stop acting like children and better help her. If they didn't then she would at least stay behind with this girl, she'd rather help one lost girl and end up lost herself, than stick around with these people at this point anyhow.
She glared daggers at Naomi as she messed with the door, as they didn't need any more antagonizing of the small child. The new arrival caused her to turn around and smile, hopefully they would be more agreeable than her current company. "Hello there!" she says, smile present and venom gone. "No, this little sweetheart here just needs some help, and she was worried that these kind people here were about to leave her. But they weren't, were they?"
Rafik's knockerbacker spell easily shoves the malnourished girl to the ground, causing her to tumble across the gravel of the walkway. Dazed and weak, limbs shaking, she slowly attempts to push herself upright as she half-listens to the gentle words of Percy and Aelina. [break][break] They want to know more. They want to help. They want to know what to look for. What did the key look like? "I... don't know. I-- I don't know." Her eyes are wide with sudden panic, glazed with pooling tears as her voice chokes on her distress. "But it's close -- I can feel -- I...--"[break][break] Her voice trails off and her eyes appear to lose their focus momentarily. Willing her battered limbs to move, she scrambles to her feet and throws herself against the door right next to Naomi. Again. And again. [break][break] "Open! Up!" she shouts as she recklessly throws her body against the unbudging door, a desperate sob permeating her tone. "Please-- Please... I have to... I..." she pleads in a quivering whimper as her body begins to fail her. She slumps against the door, but stubbornly remains standing.
