"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
“A little rougher around the edges but you feel similar to them. Sweet.” Of course he was biased because... well why was he biased again? He couldn’t remember. His aura just kind of him so. Something that just kind of spoke to him on some level he didn’t quite get. Past lives perhaps?
They could see the smoke coming from the home indicating his grandparents were indeed not only still home but also awake. Then again while is was sundown it wasn’t like it was the middle of the night. Nothing of the sort. It took a solid two minutes to get there. The air starting to cool as day slipped into night.
As they stepped up to the entrance, Aiden tugged at his arm and with little resistance he complied. He pointed at his lips and made a few gentle thoughts into his head. This was usually how dates ended in books. “Hehe I thought you’d never ask.” Charani said as they stood in front of the doorway.
Both had little idea there were two elderly witches near them with faces pressed up against glass. Who cares honestly? When you can have something like this. Warm, a little chapped, smelling of chocolate and a hint of milk.
Charani would attempt the kiss. His hands on the barely taller boys shoulders in an attempt to get them closer together. It was something he seemed eager to take part in. Eagerness and a wave of nervous joy seemed to wash over him. For much of his flirty tactics in his mind this was essentially his second kiss. With the same person as his first too.
No doubt whenever they got around the opening the door they’d find two older witches out of breath trying to look nonchalant like they had been baking and reading the paper. Things that were technically true at the moment at least. Oh well.

His chest grew warm with genuine affection as Charani slowly spoke into his mind. There is a tenderness there that he didn’t expect from a stranger. It felt like something reserved for someone more intimate, which they weren’t and yet. This all came so easily to the surface, and he didn’t want to reject it. He liked that warmth, it felt sincere and honest. Something deeper is reflected in his eyes before he closes them to indulge in another kiss. [break][break]
Aiden helped to close the distance and leaned into something soft, and gentle despite the rush pushing the both of them forward. It’s longer than their first kiss, and he doesn’t mind holding it for just a touch more with a boy he barely knew. He’d pull away eventually, both not wanting to and also not wanting to make out in front of his spying granparents’ door. There’s the urge to steal another, just a quick one, but Aiden pushed down the urge still blushing as always. As he announced his presence not wanting to address the prying eyes, the pair are greeted by the old couple who’re happy to see Charani is back so close to dinner. [break][break]
Naturally, a dinner invitation is extended to the brunette and naturally he’s invited to stay overnight. No friend of Aiden’s was going to stay out so late and not be invited to stay in after all. All the while, their grandson is nodding along in agreement a little dazed. His thoughts were elsewhere of course, fully enthralled for the evening. It was apparent in the way his gaze seemed to move back to Charani’s lips, or how he caught himself staring something on the wall too long if he didn’t keep himself occupied, working on a bit of needlework like he had promised. “I’m almost done…” he’d murmur on the couch as his grandmother tutted him for working too hard as she and her husband got ready to turn in for the night. “It’s alright, night.” He’d return with ease knowing he’d be in a much lazier state tomorrow. He just, had a feeling there’d be some extra grogginess to that. You know, on account of a cute boy spending the night with him.
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
Time seemed to love differently after the kiss. Kind of like a movie montage of various things important enough to show a snippet of but not important enough to delve to deeply into. His grandparents were nice and welcoming. His grandmother in particular was very friendly... talking to Charani like she’s known him for years. Asking about his sisters even despite having no way to know he had any. Intuitive perhaps?
It wasn’t long before the older folks went to bed and they were left alone again. The ginger boy seemed to be fairly dazed throughout the last few hours or so since the kiss. He was stealing glances when he thought no one was looking... despite everyone looking with eagle eyes.
After the two vacated the room Charani took little time in sprawling himself over aiden emerson on the couch. Limbs everywhere as he clung to the boy like he had when they were walking. Warm and soft.
“We should go to your room but also I kinda don’t want to get up.” Charani said as he sighed into Aidens body. He wasn’t really tired or anything it just felt nice to have Aidens warmth around him.
“Though I am curious what it looks like. I’m thinking blue? Am I warm?” Charani had little idea what the room looked like. He was guessing a smaller bed fit for one person... two people if they squeezed tight. Which honestly sounded like a good plan. Note to self for later. Maybe a desk with some notebooks or papers. A closet with similar clothes in shades of black, blue and brown. Normal.

Aiden did his best to make space for his guest as he finished stitching in a translucent thread into the boy’s shirt. He avoided the red embroidery, not confident enough to mess with it and instead inlay his mana threads around and through the garment. He’d been at it since dessert, with Rosario pitching in to help guide him as well. She’d already helped him stitch in the warmth and cooling threads, tapping into the pattern that would allow them both to coexist and regulate the feel of the item in tandem. Then the repel threads to help keep the item clean by repelling mud or blood stains. Finally, the spidersilk that he was finishing up. The shirt had a lot of love, whether it was necessity or otherwise, and this would keep it from fraying. [break][break]
He snipped the last thread once he finished up, humming in agreement. “You don’t expect me to carry you right? You ate a lot of tarts.” The redhead teased, his focus finally moving back to his companion. It’d been a relaxed evening moving along quietly with familiar ease. Like this was something they’d done often enough. He made no move to disturb the other boy, content with letting him lay there even if part of his thigh was starting to go numb. “Pretty hot. Pale blue walls.” Aiden offered as he put away the needle and threads he’d been using, effortlessly packing it up and sliding it into his pouch. He dumped the over shirt onto his guest’s face. [break][break]
“How much privacy do you have back at home?” he asked as he stretched his arms above his head and held back a small yawn. “Like, your own room or…tent…or something?” He liked his personal space, even if Charani had made it a habit to invade it today. That fine though, a pesky exception to the general rule. How he got around it he didn’t know. That was a lie he definitely knew. Those damn puppy eyes and that smile- he narrowed his eyes, annoyed with himself at how easy he was to manipulate.
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
The brunette really hadn’t been paying much attention to anything going on. He was mostly letting Aiden work with his stitching and magic. Things he didn’t really understand well as he was not a weaver. He spent his time doing other things. Said other things were clinging to Aiden and probably impeding his work. Worth it.
”Divination for the win.” Sure he didn’t actually divine the fact Aiden had pale blue walls but that wasn’t the point. Was there a point? Not really. Aiden didn’t need to know that though did he? Nope.
“Meannnnn.” Charani hummed into Aidens arm, his face obscured by the other boys clothes and body. It had no bite to it and seemed more like a child giving whining about something stupid and unimportant. It was both of those things as Aiden clearly didn’t mean it and he was clearly not fat. The garment was then finally dumped onto his head when finished.
“I have pretty decent privacy. I only have sisters so they have to share a space and I don’t. It’s kind of nice. We do live in buildings not tents. They're just wooden and don’t have a lot in them.” Charani’s home was little more than a log cabin with rooms to sleep in and that’s about it. Everything else had its own building and area of the compound. Everything else was shared. Now that Aidens hands were free Charani could monopolize his attention. Sorry Kimmy you know how he is.
He would try to swing his body around so he was not putting all his weight on the other boys now numb leg. Time to spread the love and sit facing him. But like also be in his lap at the same time. Yippee kayehh we sitting cowgirl style up in here. He’d try to get their bodies and faces as close as possible. Hopefully his grandparents were actually asleep by now.

“I gotta take you to a carnival one day if you can use divination to guess things that easily.” Aiden said snickering at the thought. That or an arcade wit ha bunch of luck games. IF they teamed up just right, they could come out loaded with tickets. Not that the prizes were ever very good, but for him it was more about besting the challenge than the actual subpar prize. “The meanest.” He affirmed with a slight smirk, not taking it very seriously. [break][break]
“I’m an only child so I never had to share, really.” He explained after the diviner was done talking. “So it’s as private as I can get it.” He had no complaints. He hadn’t needed something more extreme yet. If there was ever that kind of situation though, it was most likely related to Leviathan. Though they had meeting places that were guarded for times just like that, so it wasn’t a big stressor to find somewhere quiet to hide. “I assumed maybe you guys lived in canopies. Like, tree houses.” He added. It’s hard to imagine living in a swamp. The humidity, the wild life, the rival cults. Sounded about as fun as prison. [break][break]
There’s a shift in movement and Aiden is temporarily relieved Charani was sitting up. He’s about to stand to stretch the rest of his body when the brunette planted himself once again, far closer than before. “Uhh,” His eyes are wide, confused at the choice, back pressed into the couch as Charani stared him down, more or less. Even as he tried to put the initial space between them, his date leaned in to follow. Their noses were practically touching, as by now Charani would know, Aiden wouldn’t push him away. He tried to keep his cool as hard as that was. “You said you ran away before. You gonna do it again?” His eyes would dart to the side of the couch and then back at the boy before him.
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
”Id say carnival. Mostly because that sounds more fun.” Sure he hadnt ever been to one before but there was a carnival in one of his romance books. Lots of booths and dancing to be had. Nighttime fireworks whatever those were. It sounded like fun.
“Sometimes I wonder what it’s like to be an only child. Peace and quiet. No sisters dressing you up by force.” Charani was very much in Aidens face at this point. His breath warm and moist as he spoke quieter than he had been earlier. No need to be loud when they were so close. Besides shouldn’t wake up the others right? How considerate of him.
“Mmm nope. There’s a clearing and little pond where we are. It’s kind of nice.” Charani’s home was part of the swampland but not actually swamp. On the edge of the swamp or swamp adjacent if you will. He may or may not try to play with Aidens hair, bring really close to the boy so they could touch but not initiating anything more intense as of yet.
He seemed to be enjoying his position as he had as much contact as he possibly could with the redhead. “Hmm. I think I’ve found a pretty good reason for running away.” There was an implication there left unsaid as he shifted his weight a bit but remained on top of Aiden. He was physically weaker than the knight so he could easily push Charani off him if he wanted. Or push him down. Choices.

“Maybe a holiday, if you come around on time.” He mused, already making loose plans with a boy he’d just met, that lived in a hidden commune in the swamp. He let out a small laugh, with their proximity it sounded nervous. “Not much fun in a swamp, huh?” He couldn’t figure how bad it might’ve been. After all, the only people that had tried to dress him up was his mom and grandmother. After he hit double digits though, they had become more suggestions than actual outfits to parade the redhead in. Despite how relaxed he’d been before, without something to occupy his hands, he was back to thinking about Charani in that way that made him feel lightheaded. [break][break]
“Oh…” he uttered breezily. “I thought you were in the thick of it, way rougher.” He said with a small shrug. He flinched a little as Charani messed with his hair, moving his head away instinctively, before moving back. He didn’t lean into it, unsure what exactly the boy was doing but instead waited to see what it felt like. He already felt little tingles on his scalp as his fingers sifted through red locks. Even if he was stronger, he felt small under Charani’s scrutiny. Vulnerable- Yes. That was a better way to describe it. [break][break]
He opened his mouth to say something but couldn’t, eyelids fluttering as he tried to keep his thoughts together despite all the positive attention. At home, in this moment, it felt like he was the ant, and Charani was holding the magnifying glass under the sun to roast him. He felt that warm anyway. “You- uh- you’re not afraid of getting punished if you get caught?” he asked, frowning as he tried to understand the boy’s weird customs. “Would they even…do anything to you?” They’d figure out something was amiss right? The gifts, the enhanced clothes. He’d said earlier that his religion wasn’t the sort he was used to, so did that mean it was more relaxed despite being isolated from general society? Who knew. He definitely didn’t. He was mostly talking to keep focused on the situation at hand. If not, he might zone out again like after dinner.
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
”Nope. That’s where all those weird lizard people are. We try not to associate with people like them.” Sure they weren’t all sunshine and roses but at the very least they didn’t sacrifice people. Well anymore. Now it was livestock and that kind of stuff. People were not an option anymore.
“It was not fun. Plus I looked awful.” Charani said with a laugh at his sisters expense. Sure now they had some fashion sense but as kids heck no they put him in some ugly mismatching stuff. He seemed pleased at all of the redheads reactions. He gripped lightly onto the hair he was playing with to try and get Aiden to move his head as he wanted. That direction being to the right so he could have access to his neck.
“Not really. It’s not like the old days when I’d have been whipped for leaving. I’ll probably just get yelled at and get a slap on the wrist.” Charani’s was in a unique position thanks to his divination powers. They were much more lenient with him because of them and on top of that his family was essentially the ones who footed the bill for the compound. That meant a lot in a small community.
He would attack the red heads neck first when and if given the chance. Small kisses and little nibbles at the most. He wanted to hear his reactions. Needed to hear them. The air around them was getting warm. Very warm. After a little bit he would break away from what he was doing as it was to warm with the sweater clinging to his skin. “Ugh too hot.” Hed lean back deeper into Aidens lap to try and peel it off himself. Of course Aiden would know there wasn’t anything underneath hit bare skin at this point since he had the other boys actual clothes right there next to him. Anyway back to making him squirm. His favorite thing to do.

[attr="class","a1scroll"] “Yeah…human sacrifices are a bummer…” Aiden mumbled recalling the rumors that were more or less confirmed. It was just nothing had been done about it yet other than clearing people out of the swamps. He hadn’t heard about any work in the swamp anyway. “Guess nothing’s fun if it’s forced on you.” He agreed. Despite everything, he lived a pretty unrestricted life. He took a few classes and worked for a coven, but it was by choice. He could’ve done anything else and his family would’ve been fine with it. No one was rushing him to become something else. It felt nice, it was something he needed more of. Though he was unsure as to why when he lived that life. Stress free, peaceful. Couple of hot-blooded scrapes here and there for fun. The Cunningham way. [break][break]
He didn’t seem to notice Charani leading him towards anything, tilting his head slightly as he followed his hands. Aiden was pretty distracted all things considered. Who could blame him really? McKenna could. She absolutely could blame him for not holding himself better together or thinking rationally through the entirety of today. The boy tensed up, jarred out of blissful state for a moment. “Whipped?” he asked despite Charani confirming that he would’ve been fine. That was still…pretty extreme. A grim reminder that, oh yeah, this guy Was In A Fucking Cult. “Isn’t that aAA-” before he could finish his thought, he clamped his mouth shut, tightly to keep himself form yelping like back at the book shop. As lips slid over his neck, Aiden’s empty hands covered his mouth as his eyes squeezed shut to hold back more tiny yelps. It’s a different kind of kiss. One he’s very much not used to. ‘Hey!’ was all he managed through the connection before a flood of panic and excitement flooded over the connection. [break][break]
He breathed in deep through his nose as Charani took a moment to sit up again, complaining about the temperature. Whatever the excuse, he was glad for the break. Everything felt hot to him, especially his back that felt moist form the sweat and the nerves. As Charani leaned back he fidgeted trying to back further into the couch only to reach out and grab the Charani so he wouldn’t fall backwards and maybe bang his head on a low table. “H-Hey, wait!” he hissed as the boy began pulling off the hoodie revealing bare skin. “Y-You can’t just-” He could. Aiden suppressed the vile thought as he averted his gaze. He reached over to grab the boy’s clothes. “I’ll lend you a- aaa T-shirt.” He managed, as he rubbed what he imagined were a couple of red maybe even purple spots on his neck.
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
”Yeah it’s real old school. Not cool at all.” Sure he was now ignoring most of what Aiden was saying in favor of exploring the poor boy but hey what can you do? Explore some more obviously.
“I have a counter point. How about you take your shirt off too. It’s only fair right?” Charani purred towards the red heads ear. He would try to gently push his fingers across the boys stomach and upward attempting to move the shirt upward with it. After all Aiden looked much better with less clothes in his opinion.
They should probably think about doing this somewhere more private pretty soon. Especially since Aiden was louder than expected and you really wouldn’t want your grandparents barging into the living room with a half naked boy on your lap. That would be... unpleasant.
“Unless you want to give me your shirt right here.” Charani said licking his lips as he tried to push their faces so close their noses would touch. He would push his body towards Aidens hands. He would ghost his lips over the other boys not actually touching but so close. Teasing so hard.

[attr="class","a1scroll"] He wasn’t listening anymore, though to be fair, Aiden was having a really hard time sticking to their conversation too. He still had a modicum of shame left in him though, and he was acutely aware he was on his grandparent’s couch with an increasingly inappropriate strange boy. It was also really hard to think of anything coherent when he felt hot breath in his ear and fingers trailing on his skin. He felt like a siren was going off in his head screaming DANGER! DANGER! As Charani teased him far too much. It was even harder to speak as he covered his mouth not wanting to gasp loudly or start wheezing in the living room. [break][break]
“I- But-… I uh-…” he mumbled through his fingers, lowering his arms as Charani pulled at his shirt. It was pretty sound logic, I mean, they were both guys. It wasn’t like he was walking in on a girl topless. Wasn’t it, though? Wasn’t is just the slightest bit different because of Charani? Could he in good conscience have a perfectly friendly explanation for this behavior? No. Despite that he relinquished his shirt, shaking a bit as he carefully put a sentence together before Charani could ruin all thought for him again. “C-Cover up.” He muttered, glaring at the boy’s stomach. [break][break]
He took a deep breath as he formulated something else only to lose it again. Any sense of resistance melted away as he tried chasing those lips before a sharp snap in his brain sat him still. ‘By the Gods, control yourself!’ came a faraway hiss. One last nag from his familiar before she went into the abyss to avoid dealing with whatever this was. Aiden swallowed hard as he turned his face to the side. “..s enough.” He mumbled not sounding nearly as serious as he looked. That’s right, calm down, Move aside. “We. Uum. W-We should go to bed.” He managed, barely louder than a whisper. He shivered but clung to that train of thought. “I can still…carry you.” Thoughts normal, thoughts normal. As normal as they could be right now without Aiden mentally kicking himself for tossing aside another opportunity to kiss. It probably wouldn’t be the last, but he wasn’t the most patient of people either.
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
”Oh? Thank you very much cutie.” The young man took the shirt the red haired boy had tossed at him pretty much and placed it on his own shoulder. He made sure to reward aiden emerson for that with a long kiss. Intimate. Warm and breathy. Needy even. Clearly starved for affection.
“To bed? Oh I know.” Charani purred in the other boys ear, letting his lips press against it. He trailed his fingers down the bare chest of the redhead and his pushed his lips onto the others boys again for the second time in the past minute. He seemed to really want to share kisses with Aiden. And other stuff but whatever.
The boy would finally give Aiden some reprieve as he untangled himself from the other witch. He would roll himself up into a standing position if Aiden would allow hims too. For a brief moment Aiden could breath. Plus he didn’t have to carry someone to his room. He Leaned into the mental connection they had.
“Meet me in your room in two minutes.” Charani said into the other boys strangled mind. He would attempt one more kiss before moving away towards Aidens room. A place where he had no reason to have knowledge of its position but he did. He made sure to take Aidens shirt with him.
If allowed he’d do something... he was being very forward to be honest. Aiden said he needed to wear a shirt so he would wear a shirt. Aidens shirt. Aidens shirt and only his shirt. On his bed waiting for the redhead to come in. Cruel.

[attr="class","a1scroll"] He didn’t even wear it! He didn’t even put it on?! Aiden opened his mouth to ask only for the tiniest gasp to be muffled by Charani fully coming onto him. As if he hadn’t before the entire afternoon but you know. It’s a surprise, but one he melts into as one of his hands raise up to hold the side of Charani’s cheek. He’s not even sure where he’s going with this or why he felt so needy, but he was happy to go along with the diviner. It’s over too fast, or maybe he’s just too dumb, brain function slowed immensely by one horrible date. [break][break]
Aiden’s vision swam a little, and he felt the hair on the back of his neck prickle once more as Charani whispered into the shell of his ear, sounding a little too pleased with himself. There’s a brief line of thought on how maybe he was a little too easy or maybe he should’ve been more concerned about something and then another kiss washes all of those ugly thoughts away until there’s nothing left but the rapid beat of his heart in his ears and the warmth of Charani’s lips on his. [break][break]
And then it stopped, and it took him a moment or two to even realize it had. He blinked a couple of times to focus on what was happening, idly nodding his yeah. “Yeah..ok…” It would take him that long to gather enough shot brain cells to get up and moving. Like a flash, the cultist was gone, and he was left panting lightly on the couch, carefully grabbing his hoodie, and the sewing project that had been Charani’s clothes. The last kiss felt more like an incentive than a brain destroyer. At least, that’s what he reasoned it was as he carefully folded the clothes and silently got up to move to his bedroom. ‘I’ll lend you some…uuuuuuuuh-’ came a thought through their link before being distracted. The clothes in his arms fell to his feet as his mouth hung open. The only thing that really moved was his hand, deftly reaching behind him to lock the door. [break][break]
It took him a second to process, the daze fading as his eyes widened a bit and he swallowed hard. So that’s probably happening. Aiden stumbled over to bed, feeling like he was practically glowing red at this point and planted himself next to his guest. There’s hesitation as he leaned over to offer the boy a peck on cheek, fairly chaste considering what had just happened but he needed to be able to think just a minute longer. “I’m. I’m kind of new to this.” He whispered, as he placed a hand on Charani’s shoulder before shoving him backwards. ‘All of this.’ He added looking down at the boy again this time in a wildly different context he couldn’t have imagined earlier today. Still, there’s an excitement there bubbling over into their mental link filling him with new energy. ‘Tell me what to do.’ [break][break]
"I just cam here to the party for the drugs Not here to make a friend or fall in love"
You wake up and your body aches. Maybe it was all the... let’s call it exercise from the previous night. Which speaking of he could feel something warm enveloping him and a blanket covering most of his body. The sunlight shone through a lone window as day started to set in
“Mmmnn.” Charani groaned and stretched his body under the grip of another person. There was some light cracking as his body awoke for the day. Then again maybe a little more sleep was in order. He tried his best to turn his body around to face Aiden and grip onto him as he fell asleep again.
The time wouldn’t pass very fast. It may have felt fast but truthfully it was only like ten or so minutes later when he awoke again. His body said it was time to be awake. How dare it do this. With a couple more minutes of laying there awake he had to get up. Partially to pee. Thanks bladder.
Charani untangled himself as best he could trying not to disru b Aiden who looked so peaceful. Assuming he was successful he would make a trip to the bathroom. He made it a couple steps before picking through the clothes on the floor to dress himself as he... well there wasn’t really anything on. One of Aidens shirts and what he assumed were a pair of his underwear or maybe shorts?
The clothes were a tiny bit loose on him but they were close enough in size that it looked normal. Maybe he’d make Aiden breakfast! That’s be a good way to wake up right? After a quick pee he’d go to the kitchen and try to make something. There were eggs in the fridge so that’s what it was. Maybe the leftover vegetables mixed in. Time to start cooking.
Aiden probably wouldn’t be the first of his family awake. His grandmother or grandfather or honestly both would probably be up before to see Charani dressed in their grandsons clothes making breakfast. Also probably sampling said breakfast. Also probably seeing Charani walking funny but you know whatever. It’s Christmas right? Wait. What do you mean it’s May? What.
